Doug Bland has served as adjunct faculty at South Mountain Community College for thirteen years. He’s taught “The Art of Storytelling”, “Telling Sacred Stories,” and “Using Storytelling in Businesses and Organizations.” Doug has been Pastor at the Tempe Community Christian Church (“the storytelling church”) for eighteen years. Several times a year they offer storytelling concerts, using the ancient art of storytelling “as a way to explore the human soul.”

Jay Cravath is a writer, composer and scholar in the field of music and Native American music.As a member of the Arizona Humanities Council Speakers Bureau since 1990 Dr. Cravath crafts articles and programs that include stories and performance. His publications include North American Indian Music, The Mohave Book for Little Ones, and The Chemehuevi Book for Little Ones. As a correspondent for the online magazine, The Examiner, he has published numerous essays on liberal arts and Indigenous history.

Mark Goldman currently teaches "The Art of Storytelling" at Glendale Community College, coaches other tellers, performs at various venues around the Valley, and ocasionally produces some storytelling events. His book Storytelling Tips: Creating Crafting and Telling Stories is now on Amazon.com in paperback and Kindle formats.

Joyce Story has told her stories in a number of venues besides American (and Costa Rican) schools and libraries: festivals, concerts, story slams, churches, parks, coffee houses, retirement homes, and, once, with passengers in a car that had pulled over to wait for an Arizona dust storm to run its course. Her book, The Rhyme and Rhythm of Childhood, features stories inspired by childhood memories that family and friends have shared with her.
